1990 Ferrari Testarossa

The Ferrari Testarossa is a sports car from Ferrari dating back to 1984. It is one of Ferrari's most famous models. Like the 288 GTO, also released in 1984, the name of the Testarossa refers to a prestigious model from the 250 series, namely the 250 Testa Rossa. The name Testarossa means "Red Head" in Italian, referring to the red color of the valve covers (the cylinder heads are made of aluminum). The car was designed by Pininfarina, and one of the features that made it an icon of the 80s is the distinctive air vents in the doors, which were also used in later models. These are also known as 'egg slicers'. Additionally, the Testarossa, along with the inspired Ferrari 348, is one of the few models without the characteristic round taillights. This model is equipped with a twelve-cylinder engine. A total of 7177 examples of this model were produced.
